The core technology is the PeCOD® sensor, which consists of a UV- activated nano particulate TiO2 (titanium dioxide) photocatalyst coupled to an external circuit.

 

PeCOD conforms to Method E3515, released in 2014 by the Ontario Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MOECC) to replace the dichromate method for COD testing.
